17 year old Hansika Motwani is making rapid strides in Tollywood as well as Bollywood. Making her debut in Hindi with the Hrithik Roshan-starrer, 'Koi Mil Gaya' (2003), Hansika has entered the big league in no time.
In Telugu, her debut film 'Desamuduru', opposite Allu Arjun, was a big hit. The same was the case with her Bollywood debut (in the lead), 'Aap Ka Suroor', opposite Himesh Reshammiya.
Hansika has a few good projects awaiting her in 2009. It seems the hottie with the knockout looks is a "Lambi race ki Ghodi"!

Born in (Mumbai,India), Hansika is currently enrolled in the 12th Grade in the Indian Education System. She attends Podar International School. Hansika mainly speaks English, Telugu, Hindi and Broken Tulu. Her father is Mr.Pradeep Motwani and mother is Mrs. Mona Motwani. While her father looks after Business, her mother is a popular Dermatologist.

Hansika made her debut as a heroine in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film, Desamuduru opposite Allu Arjun. The film is about a crime reporter who falls in love with a sannyasi, played by Hansika.^[1] She also has a Hindi film entitled He: The Only One in where she will be essaying the role of a killer, hell bent on taking revenge for her family.^[2].

Hansika made her debut as a leading actress in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Ka Suroor - The Real Love Story. She played the role of Himesh Reshammiya's lover Ria. The film was released on 29th June 2007 and became a hit mostly with the masses across India. This has paved the way for her to be called a promising newcomer.

Hansika made her debut as a lead actress in Kannada film Bindaas with Puneet Rajkumar.The film was released on 15th February 2008.

She is currently shooting for Kantri with Junior NTR. She was recently nominated for the prestigious Filmfare Award for the best debut Female. She is receiving many offers from Bollywood Hindi Movies and is now among the Top Five Heroines in the industry. She is now getting film offers upwards of rupees one crore. Another film titled Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is on the floors. In MHTHH, Hansika is working with Govinda.
