Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, which took the audience back to a retro era of gangsters and cabaret, hit the theaters on 30th July, and emerged as one of the biggest box offices and musical hits of 2010. After earning significant critical acclaim and commercial success, Balaji Motion Pictures’ worldwide blockbuster film 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' has completed its 100 days. 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai' a film on Mumbai underworld during the 1970's touched the hearts of millions of the audience. The cast and crew of the film celebrated the 100th day of success of the film in the Marriott. The lead actors of the film, Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Kangana Ranaut were present for the celebration with the director Milan Luthria, producer Ekta Kapoor and father Jitendra.
Producer of the film Ekta Kapoor thanked for the support they received from the audience and trade alike. She said that she is sure a sequel to 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' isn't far! On this occasion, the director of the film Milan Luthria Said, working on 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' was a wonderful experience for him. It was a great collaboration of his creative experience, strong production and marketing expertise provided by 'Balaji Motion Pictures', which helped him to transform his vision into the magical story we saw on the screen. 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai'is a hindi film directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. Pritam Chakraborty has composed the music for the film and lyrics panned by Irshad Kamil. Ajay Devgan as Sultan, Emraan Hashmi as Shoaib, Kangana Ranaut as Rehana, Prachi Desai as Mumtaz are in the lead roles. Film's other star-cast are Randeep Hooda as Agnel, Gauhar Khan as Item number, Imran Hasnee as Harish, Avtar Gill as Home Minister, Naved Aslam as Patrick , Sanjeev Wilson as Chandru, Mehul Bhojak as Javed, Arbaaz Ali Khan as Pathan and Ravi Khanwilkar as Vardhan. Once Upon A Time In Mumbai sketches the life of smugglers Sultan Mirza (Role played by Ajay Devgn) and Shoaib Khan (Role played by Emraan Hashmi). It covers the entire growth of the Mumbai underworld, from crime and smuggling in its early stages through its connection with international terrorism in recent times. It is based on actual happenings. The film's underworld plot is finely blended with two love stories, which give a romantic touch to the film. Actor Sivaji and Actress Gauri Munjal are in the lead pair in the film. This program was attended by Jr. Sivaji Ganesan, Gauri Munjal, Srilekha, Nehaal, Sagar, Srinivas Reddy, Mohan Vadlapatla, Sundar Srikanth and other famous personalities of south film industries. The audio CDs were launched by Sagar and presented the first copy to Jr. Sivaji Ganesan and the 2nd copy to Gauri Munjal. This was followed by the brochure release by Srinivas Reddy.
Chiruta Puli is a Telugu Action packed romantic film directed by A. Venkatesh and produced by Kooni Reddy Srinivas. Music of the film is composed by Prasana Shekhar. Lyrics panned by Bharathi Babu. Bharathi Babu also panned dialogues for the film and camera by RD Rajasekhar. M M Sreelekha, Nihal, Vijaya Lakshmi and Srikanth have sung the songs for the film. Veteran actor Late Sivaji Ganesan's grandson Jr. Sivaji Ganesan and Gauri Munjal are as a hero and heroine in the film. The movie also stars Malavika, Saranya and Vivek in central roles. Koonireddy Sriniva distributing this film after ‘Vyapari’. The movie is very impressive, and he hopes that the Telugu audience will also appreciate it. Gauri Munjal has appeared on the silver screen after a short break, and she hopes that this film will be a big success just like in Tamil.
